Program Details

  • Learn the essentials of Islamic Sciences applicable to your everyday life in this ongoing course on Saturdays
  • During the Course, you will cover:
    • 1. Qasidah al-Burdah – Life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and His Noble Qualities through a study of the famous Qasidah al-Burdah by Imam al-Busiri
    • 2. Minhaj al-‘Abideen by Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali – a famous text by the great scholar al-Ghazali. This book, The Way of the Worshippers, provides a clear and comprehensive manual for every sincere Muslim who is interested in treading the path of spiritual wayfaring.
    • 3. History of Development of Islamic Law and the 4 Madhabs – delve into and learn to appreciate the sacrifices of the early generations of Muslim scholars in their establishment and refinement of the Islamic legal code of law. Appreciate the legacy of the 4 classical madhabs and their founding Imams.

This course is open to women 16 years or older.

Format: In Person and Online (via live classes). Recordings will be made available for the duration of the course and one month after the last class.

  • Course Duration: Ongoing, Schedule follows the School Terms
  • Term 2, 2023:
    • Start Date: Saturday 6th May 2023
    • End Date: Saturday 24th June 2023
  • Times: Saturdays 9:00am to 12:00pm

Fees

  • Fee: $230
  • Textbooks (when required) are separate to the term fee. For those that join during term, we will offer a reduced fee based on the remaining weeks. Our payment policy is that term fees are payable at the beginning of each term.
  • Classes will be conducted in our Revesby, NSW location in South West Sydney.
